Pearl Hutton Shrader came to Spokane from Chicago in 1905. She taught voice in several Spokane colleges and schools for many years. A niece of Levi Hutton, founder of the Hutton Settlement, she was one of the original members of the Hutton Settlement board and served as its president for six years.
